Why This Artwork?
This artwork was chosen because of its importance in the development of laws. This artwork was one of the earliest examples of laws ever, and was one of the first ancient writings to be translated. Also it was one of the first examples of capital punishment in the ancient world. All of these are why I chose this artwork over other possible ones.
